The Waldkrankenhaus hospital was opened in 1970 as the successor to the Viktoria Hospital. At that time, it was run by the five Protestant parishes that existed at the time. Nursing care was provided by the Frauenhilfs-Diakonieschwesternschaft im Rheinland e. V. (Women's Aid Deaconess Association in the Rhineland). Today, both the Johanniter Hospital and the Waldkrankenhaus Bonn belong to Johanniter GmbH. With over 650 beds, this hospital group is the largest clinic in the Bonn area outside of the university hospitals.
Accessibility
The venue is barrier-free for wheelchair users.
