Alexandra von Schwerin was born in Stuttgart in 1962. Her training at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin was followed by work at the Burgtheater in Wien, the Schauspiel in Frankfurt or the Staatstheater in Darmstadt, amongst others. Additionally, she was engaged at international opera houses. On television, she appeared several times in the Tatort or series like SOKO Köln and Danni Lowinksi. Next to her varied engagements, von Schwerin works as an acting coach and has appeared on many audio dramas as a voice actress.
