Dear friends of the Beethovenfest Bonn,
due to the current situation and the spread of the coronavirus, we regret to have to cancel all performances that were planned for the March festival from 13 to 22 March 2020. By general ruling of 12 March 2020 and following the instructions of the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the City of Bonn has prohibited all planned major events due to the current situation.
We have followed this instruction and hope that this will also help us to stop or at least slow down the further spread of the virus.
You have the following possibilities ...
1. Donation Receipt
If you would like to waive a refund of the ticket price, you will help us to minimize the financial losses and continue to enable the promotion of young artists. We will gladly issue a donation receipt for all non-refunded amounts. Please keep your original ticket or the electronic order confirmation of online-orders/Print@Home-Tickets and contact us by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can also rebook tickets for an alternative concert date for the Beethovenfest in September. To do so, please contact the ticket agency or the ticket provider where you bought the tickets.
Of course you can also return your concert tickets free of charge. The ticket price (without advance booking fee) will be refunded. Please contact the advance booking office, the visitor organisation (e.g. Theatergemeinde Bonn) or the ticket provider (Bonnticket, Eventim etc.) where you bought the tickets directly.
Due to the current situation and the associated closure of the retail trade, the BonnTicket advance booking offices are also currently closed. On behalf of the individual box offices we therefore ask for your patience and understanding that the processing of ticket returns is currently not possible at all or only in few cases. Please keep your tickets until the situation improves again. The processing of returns will then be made up for at a later date. You are making an important contribution to the preservation of cultural life if you waive the refund of the ticket price. You will receive a tax-recognized donation receipt for the ticket price donated from us (see 1. Donation Receipt).
If you have booked tickets online (www.beethovenfest.de or www.bonnticket.de) or by phone (Beethovenfest Hotline + 49 228 / 50 20 13 13 or Bonnticket Call Center + 49 228 / 50 20 10), you can find further information on how to return tickets here. We ask for your patience and understanding that the processing may also take more time than usual.
Thank you for your understanding and best regards - and please stay healthy,
Nike Wagner (artistic director)
Dettloff Schwerdtfeger (Managing Director)
P.S. Sales for the events from September 4 – 27, 2020 will continue as usual and we hope to see you in September in good health!
