Life is pulsing at Beethovenfest 2023! Here comes the festival trailer to get you in the mood for the ticket pre-sale.
Over 70 concerts at more than 30 venues in Bonn and the Rhein-Sieg district, artists from all over the world, big stars and new talents: Beethovenfest Bonn 2023 has a packed programme in store. In the second year of Steven Walter’s directorship, the focus will be on life: life on our planet, life in and with music, the limits of life.
Today, life on our planet is endangered. Beethovenfest 2023 seeks to move forward towards a more sustainable life: with artistic ideas and with changes to the festival’s work.
Steven Walter in the bee.mobil with festival artists
Artistic director Steven Walter picked up three artists in the bee.mobil and drove them across Bonn to the various venues.
First, he collected pianist and Artist in Residence Fabian Müller, who comes from Bonn, or from Bonn-Endenich to be more precise. The pair drive past the many small venues of the Endenich Cultural Mile. Find out what happens there and at the other concert of Fabian’s residence at the Bonn Opera House in the video.
Steven Walter rides the second stage with Dirk Kaftan, chief conductor of the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn. Arriving at the venue for the concerts in the Bonn Opera, Dirk reveals to us how to become a conductor and what Olivier Messiaen's epic Turangalîla Symphony is all about, which he will perform at the Beethovenfest in September.
